Want to meet other new students to Leeds?
Come along to our Speedfriending sessions, taking place on Monday, 14th of September in Riley Smith Theatre, inside Leeds University Union.
We have three sessions starting at 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm.
These are free to join! We have limited space available but will take as many students as we can for each session. As well as icebreakers, we will provide conversation starters and prompts.
How will this event run: This optional event is an opportunity to meet people from different residences by ‘speedfriending’. This involves talking to one person at a time for a short amount of time, and rotating around the room until you have spoken to nearly everyone individually. There will also be some icebreaker games played. You can leave at any time.

You'll be able to attend events with them and develop new connections.
Entry to the venue: There is a ramp to enter Leeds University Union and this provides step free access to Riley Smith.
Accessible toilet: located inside Leeds University Union in the foyer area, near to the Refectory.
Quiet room if needed: Meeting room 1, accessible by a lift outside Riley Smith Theatre.
We will be taking photos and videos during the event to capture the fun and share highlights on our Residence Life website and Instagram.These images will not be used outside of Residence Life promotional purposes.
