Favourite place in Leeds: Kirkgate Market – I love going there every Saturday to pick up my fruit and veg for the week, it’s also a great place to grab lunch or a sweet treat.  I also love going there for the vintage market every month.

Fun facts:

• I moved over to the UK from Canada in 2022 to join the Residence Life Team at the University of Leeds.
• I am a big fan of camping, canoeing, snowshoeing and hiking.
• Since moving here I’ve started playing Women’s Rugby, and try to get outside of the city to go on lots of walks – usually in the Dales or the Peak District!

• I like to spend 4 hours doing nail art on my nails every two weeks
• I am a foodie so I can tell you about where the best places are to eat in Leeds
• I love to run - I ran Leeds Half Marathon this year, and I am going to run the Lisbon Half Marathon and Hackney Half Marathon in 2026
