Become a pro at mocktail making!
Join us on Friday 18th September for a workshop in mocktail making!
After this session, you'll be a pro at making mocktails. We will be holding three slots at 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm.
You will need to purchase a ticket for £2 to attend this event.
How the event will run: We will begin by explaining how to make each cocktail and show a demonstration video. We will then allow you to make both recipes yourselves and time to garnish your mocktail. After the timer, we'll judge each drink on appearance and taste, choosing winners who will receive prizes.
This event will be held in Function, located inside Leeds University Union (LUU). See information below on getting to the venue.

Getting there
Function is located within Leeds University Union. Enter through the main Union entrance and continue straight ahead down the stairs. Continue past Gear and follow the internal signage to Function.
Step-free access:
A step-free route to Function is available via the accessible entrances to LUU. The lift is located beside The Refectory. After entering through The Refectory entrance, continue straight ahead and you will find the lift on your left, providing access to Union Square (Level -1).
Once you arrive in Union Square, turn right three times and continue straight ahead until you reach the Co-op on your right. With the Co-op directly in front of you, turn left and follow the corridor past the studios to the end. You will find a second lift there, which provides direct access to Function on Level -2.

Accessible toilet:
The nearest accessible toilet is located immediately to the left of the entrance to Function, providing easy access for attendees.
Quiet room if needed: Meeting Room 1 (inside Leeds University Union), accessible by a lift outside Riley Smith Theatre. If you have any further accessibility requirements, please contact residencelife@leeds.ac.uk.
We will be taking photos and videos during the event to capture the fun and share highlights on our Residence Life website and Instagram. These images will not be used outside of Residence Life promotional purposes.
