Res Life have teamed up with HELIX, the University's new learning innovation hub for students. This space is right on campus and can offer students unique tools and opportunities to learn about HELIX spaces and how they can be used, including skills in the following: Media Suites, Self-recording booths, XR Development Space, MakerSpace, and Flexible classroom spaces.
How the event will run: In this session you will be able to get hands on with their Extended Reality Classroom. You'll find the latest Meta Quest 3, 3S and Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise headsets for cutting edge-Virtual or Mixed Reality (VR/MR) experiences, Samsung Tablets for Augmented Reality (AR) exploration, and a lager fleet of Meta Quest 2 headsets for classroom-scale activities.
Please note: This event uses VR headsets and may not be suitable for individuals who are sensitive to flashing or rapidly changing visual effects.
