Mandatory Warden Welcome Talk
Tuesday 22 September, 5.30pm-7pm
Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre and then BBQ at CitySide
Michael Sadler has an accessible entrance on the West side of the building, near to a circular courtyard. There are wheelchair spaces at the front of the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre. An accessible toilet is located next to the female toilets in Michael Sadler building, on the same level as the lecture theatre.
How this event will be run: This talk from your Residence Life Warden involves a presentation for approximately an hour which explains important information about living in residences, student support and opportunities.
The talk is mandatory for all residents.
This mandatory talk should be attended by all residents. This talk will include key information about your halls & safety in your halls, and you will have a chance to get to know your warden. You must stay for the duration of the talk but you are welcome to leave after. The event will follow with a BBQ at Carlton Hill with vegan options - food is first come, first served.
The talk starts at 5.30pm and is mandatory for all residents.

Pizza & Activity Night
Sunday 13 September, 6pm-8pm
CitySide Common Room
We will be serving free pizza, both meat and vegan options, and there will be a game you can choose to play with other residents. You are free to drop in and leave at any time but please note the food will be first come first served. You will also be able to meet your Residence Life Assistants
Pony Therapy
Thursday 17 September, 1pm - 3pm
Outside CitySide
Come along and pet some cute ponies!
Feel free to come and go at any point during the event.
Welcome BBQ & Ice Cream Truck
Saturday 19 September from 11am
Outside CitySide
This event will involve free BBQ food, with a range of vegan and meat options. We will also have an ice cream truck. You will have a chance to socialise with your residents. You are free to drop in and leave at any time but please note the food will be first come first served.

Pyramid Theatre, LUU

Entry to the venue: There is step-free access to Pyramid Theatre. There are two lift options to reach the first basement floor (near Co-op supermarket). Lift 1 can be found opposite the Refectory. This lift goes to floor -1. From there, the next lift is located at the end of the corridor, past the food vendors, Co-op and the Scarlet and Mango studios. This lift can then be used to get to Pyramid Canteen (floor -2) and Pyramid Theatre (floor -3).
Lift 2 is located through the doors to the left of the main Terrace entrance and then by turning right once you're through those doors. From there, the next lift is located at the end of the corridor, past the food vendors, Co-op and the Scarlet and Mango studios. This lift can then be used to get to Pyramid Canteen (floor -2) and Pyramid Theatre (floor -3).
Accessible toilet: located at the back right hand side of Pyramid Canteen, on the upper level. There is no toilet available in the theatre. The bar is also located on the upper level. This can be accessed via a ramp.
Seating: The accessible seating area in Pyramid Theatre for wheelchair users is on the left-hand side of the entrance. This can hold 2-3 wheelchairs.
Quiet room if needed: Meeting room 1, accessible by a lift outside Riley Smith Theatre.
An evening of dancing, drinks and music. Tickets are required.
Parkrun Meet-Up
Saturday 26th September 8.15 am
Meet at CitySide Reception at 8:15 am. Walk to Woodhouse Moor Parkrun & Central Halls Mixer afterwards.
A social run around Woodhouse Moor. This run is 5k, and you can either walk or run. Please note that Parkrun at Woodhouse Moor has around 600-800 runners at each event. We will walk to the All Halls mixer afterwards to enjoy some food & a chance to meet residents from other halls.
Coffee Morning
Tuesday 29 September, 9am-2pm
Outside CitySide
We will be joined by Coffee Synthesis, a coffee van. They will be serving free coffee and hot drinks. You can come and grab a hot drink and optionally socialise with other residents. There will be a stall at the site where you can chat to Residence Life about joining the Residence Life Social Committee. You are free to drop in and leave at any time, but please note the drinks will be first come, first served.
Exhibition: 400 Years of Leeds
Wednesday 30 September, 5pm-8pm
We will meet at CitySide reception at 5pm, then we'll walk to Central Library Leeds to enjoy the local exhibition.
