You Said, We Did

Suggestions from you!

You know better than anyone what it’s like to live in halls, which is why your feedback matters.

We’ve been listening to your suggestions and turning them into improvements.

Here are a few examples of what’s changed:

Women's only Monday sport sessions

After gaining feedback from students about Sports Mondays, we have decided this year we will be running sports sessions for women only, every other week.

These sessions will only include football for now. No need to sign up - simply come along!

Semester One Female only football dates:

19 October 4-5pm

30 November 4-5pm

Inter-Hall Sport Events

Our residents loved our inter-hall sporting events - so will be bringing these back each year! Keep an eye on our event page & your email communications for more information

Event Buddies

After noticing some students were eager to attend events but hesitant as they had nobody to go with, we rolled out our new Event Buddy Scheme.

This is a scheme where students are paired with like-minded residents to attend events. When you sign up we'll ask you what sort of events you enjoy, and what your interests include.

More 'Find a Flatmate' Events

You asked for us to continue our find a flatmate events - this year we will be doing exactly that!

Upcoming event: 16 November 2.30pm - 4.30pm in LUU Room 6

Winter Ball drink tokens

We had feedback from our Hall Winter Ball's that students would prefer to have drink tokens rather than share drinks as a table.

Subsequently, we have changed the structure of these Balls so students attending will now be given 2 tokens with a selection of drink choices to choose from!
