Know exactly how to report and who to report to

Living and studying in Leeds is a wonderful experience but like any city, it's important to know who to talk to if there are any issues. The University’s Security Service operates 24/7, providing valuable crime prevention guidance, conducting regular campus patrols, investigating any reported crimes, and promptly responding to alarms and emergencies. Here's how you can contact them.

Contact details to be aware of

Below are all the contact details you need, but make sure to properly assess the severity of the issue first to determine who you should contact first. For example, if its an emergency and you need help asap then please make sure to ring the emergency line.

In case of an emergency where you or someone else is at risk, and you are not on campus or within a University-owned building, it is crucial to contact the appropriate emergency services. Dial 999, which is a free number connecting you to the police, ambulance, or fire services, and ensure swift and immediate assistance.
