Applying for University accommodation can be exciting, and sometimes overwhelming.
At Leeds, we want to make the application process smoother for future students, and that starts with hearing from you.
We have commissioned TLF Research to carry out online interviews to speak to our students about their experiences.
The interview will take up to 45 minutes and will be conducted between 6 April – 1 May 2026, at a time that suits you.
As the interviews are all online – you can give us your feedback from wherever you are spending the spring break!
Who can take part?
We’re looking for students who came to halls through all kinds of pathways to chat with us about what the application process was really like.
- You selected Leeds as your firm choice and applied for accommodation by the relevant accommodation application deadline
- You selected Leeds as your firm choice, but applied for accommodation late (after the accommodation application deadline)
- You selected Leeds as your insurance choice and applied for accommodation by the relevant the accommodation application deadline
- You selected Leeds via Clearing and applied for accommodation by the relevant accommodation application deadline
Whether it was a smooth process or you have lots of feedback to share, we want to hear from you.
How will it work?
The interview will be a relaxed, informal chat with our research partner about:
- Your application experience
- What went well
- What was confusing
- What you wished you had known
Everything you share will stay anonymous, unless you give us permission to associate your name with your responses.
