As the start of Ramadan approaches and you are getting ready for a period of reflection, fasting, and community, it’s important to make sure you have all the necessary support and resources you need during this time.

Here are some key tips and helpful resources to support you during Ramadan at the University of Leeds!

Getting Ready for Ramadan

Iftars and Community Gatherings

Throughout Ramadan, the University of Leeds hosts iftars, where students come together to break their fast and share in the spirit of community and fellowship. The upcoming iftar dates are:

• Wednesday 13 March – Registration opens at 12:00PM on Thursday 7 March 
• Wednesday 20 March – Registration opens at 12:00PM on Thursday 15 March  
• Tuesday 26 March – Registration opens at 12:00PM on Thursday 22 March 
• Thursday 4 April – Registration opens at 12:00PM on Thursday 29 March 

Registration for these iftars opens in advance, and spaces are limited, so secure your spot as soon as possible.

Faith Support

Whether you need access to prayer facilities, pastoral care, or guidance on religious matters, there are plenty of support services available to you. Celebrating Eid
