Welcome BBQ, Live Music & Games for All Residents
Head down to the precinct outside Leeds University Union on Friday 25th September! We will be running Res Fest, our biggest welcome event, between 12pm and 6pm.
We will have free BBQ food, interactive stalls, bars and music for you to enjoy!
Before the event:
You will be emailed a ticket to your university email.
Please note every residence has a different timeslot so that we can stagger the food queue. The timeslots are noted below.
You will not be able to join the queue before your slot time.

You'll be able to attend events with them and develop new connections.
Entry to the venue: There is a ramp to enter Leeds University Union, and this provides step-free access to Riley Smith. The marquee and the precinct on campus are wheelchair accessible.
Accessible toilets: Located inside Leeds University Union in the foyer area, near the Refectory.
Quiet Room if needed: Meeting room 1, accessible by a lift outside Riley Smith Theatre.
How will the event run: This is an optional event that requires a ticket. You can join at the beginning of the allocated time slot for your residence. During the event, you will be able to get free food and a drink. You can leave and come back at any time within your allocated time slot.
We will be taking photos and videos during the event to capture the fun and share highlights on our Residence Life website and Instagram.
These images will not be used outside of Residence Life promotional purposes.
