Your space on campus

Looking for a space on campus where you can connect with others, take some time out and feel part of a community? Discover the Liberation Hub at Leeds University Union.

The Liberation Hub at Leeds University Union (LUU) is a dedicated space for students from marginalised and underserved communities to come together, connect with others and support a sense of belonging. The Hub is also designed to be a sensory-safe space and can be booked for events that align with equity, diversity and inclusion.

Find your community

The Liberation Hub is part of LUU's wider work to create opportunities for students to find community, have their voices heard and meet people with shared identities and experiences.

LUU has a number of Liberation Networks which students can join to meet like-minded people, get involved with student-led campaigns, attend events and keep up to date with issues and initiatives that affect their communities.

These include:

The Asian Network

The Black Network

The Disabled Network

The LGBTQ+ Network

The Neurodivergent Network

The Trans Network

The Women's Network

The Working Class Network

Whether you want to make new friends, find people who understand your experiences or get involved in making positive change, the networks are another way to build connections beyond your residence.
