Mandatory Warden Welcome Talk

Sunday 20 September, 6pm-9pm

Conference Auditorium 1 and then, followed by burgers at Charles Morris Hall

Entry to venue: There is a wheelchair accessible lift to enter Conference Auditorium 1. The porter on site will be able to assist with the lift if required. 

Accessible Toilets: Accessible toilet facilities are located on the ground floor to the left as you enter.

Quiet space if needed:  Conference Auditorium Foyer

This mandatory talk should be attended by all residents. This talk will include key information about your halls & safety in your halls, and you will have a chance to get to know your warden. You must stay for the duration of the talk, but you are welcome to leave afterwards. The event will be followed by a Burger Van at Charles Morris with vegan options.

Photography Competition: New Beginnings

Saturday 19 September - Sunday 4 October

You will be able to send us your photographs based on the theme of 'new beginnings', which your Warden will judge. The winner will receive a prize, and the photos will be displayed in the reception area in Charles Morris Hall.

More information will be announced by your Residence Life Warden.

Pizza & Activity Night

Saturday 19 September 6pm-8pm

Charles Morris Common Room

We will be serving free pizza, with both meat and vegan options. This event is an opportunity for you to meet your Residence Life Assistants. You are free to drop in and leave at any time, but please note that the food will be first-come, first-served.

Bowling at Tenpin

Tuesday 22 September 6pm-8pm

Meet at Charles Morris Reception

We will meet in Charles Morris Reception at 6pm and we’ll walk down to the bowling alley together. Spaces are limited so grab yourself a ticket!

Vegan Spice Food Truck

Saturday 26 September 5pm-7pm

Outside Charles Morris Hall

We will have a food truck outside Charles Morris serving vegan Indian food. You are free to leave/join at any time but please note that food will be first come first served.

VUE Cinema Trip

Saturday 26 September - Evening

The event will last three hours. You will meet at Charles Morris Hall to walk to The VUE together. Tickets are required for this event and will be released in September on this webpage and by the Residence Life Warden.

More information will be confirmed, such as the timing and the film.

Crafts & Conversations: Door Decorations

Thursday 1 October, 6pm - 8pm

Charles Morris Common Area

This chill craft event will allow you to create your own personalised door sign. You will also be able to interact with other residents. You can leave this event at any time.
