The UK’s largest annual arts and light festival is back!
Light Night Leeds will return on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October 2026.
For the past 20 years for two nights in October, Leeds' hotspots have been taken over by amazing artworks and fantastic performances by local, national and international artists.
Get involved with Leeds Light Night
This event is completely free and can be enjoyed by everyone. All you have to do is open the map, pick your first stop and go!

We will be around during Light Night in Lyddon Hall reception with hot chocolate, tea and safety light freebies so make sure to come and say hi if you see us!
Visit the University Zone
There are plenty of lights across campus as part of the 'University Zone'.
From lights representing our campus rabbit friends to a carnival, make sure to see what's on both across the city centre and through our campus!
