A fun fact about me is that I’ve been a contestant on a gameshow on ITV!I also love travelling and my favourite place I have visited is Fiji, where I had the chance to stay in a rural village and be immersed in the culture and landscape.
I’m excited to meet residents and help them settle into life in halls. I hope to be a friendly face that residents can come to for support.

I have not yet lived in the University of Leeds halls, but I lived in university accommodation in the United States for three years while working as a Resident Life Advisor (RLA). I’m excited to continue both my studies and my RLA journey at the University of Leeds.
A fun fact about me is that I’m trilingual! I speak English, Arabic, and Urdu. I was born and raised in Dubai and then lived in the United States for five years.
I see an RLA as someone who helps create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community where students feel comfortable, safe, and connected. It’s about being approachable, encouraging friendships, organizing engaging events, and helping residents settle into university life while offering support whenever they need it.
Get involved! Attend hall events, introduce yourself to your neighbours, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Some of the best friendships and memories come from simply saying yes to new experiences.
