Dress code and gown
There’s no strict dress code, but most students choose to dress smartly.
You must wear your academic gown throughout the dinner, unless you’re in fancy dress which is occasionally permitted for themed events.
These gowns will be given out before the dinner so make sure you arrive in plenty of time.
Devonshire Hall gowns are black, Cambridge-style, with a distinctive red flash on each shoulder.
