Res Life is collaborating with GOGA on a walk in Ambleside

Ambleside is based in the world-famous Lake District, home to lovely landscapes, rolling hills and beautiful views. It is famed as the home of William Wordsworth and the inspiration for many of the great Lakes Poets, it is one of the jewels of the English countryside.

The trip will offer two guided walking options. There will be a shorter walk for those wanting to experience the views, and a longer walk for those looking to explore further in this beautiful setting. Both walks will take you up and away from the lake and into the surrounding countryside.

After exploring the varied terrain, we will lead you back to Ambleside where you will have some free time to explore some of the shops and cafes that the Cumbrian town has to offer. Please note that the length of time to explore Ambleside will depend on which route option you pick.
