Whether you’re planning ahead, feeling a bit stuck, or just curious about what support is available, our Careers Service Drop-In Sessions, designed for our UOL Postgrads are here to help.

Each session runs from 6.00pm to 7.00pm at the following locations:

• Blenheim Point, February 10 2026
• Royal Park Flats, February 17 2026
• St Mark's, February 24 2026

These relaxed, in-person sessions are designed specifically for current University of Leeds postgraduates, giving you the chance to chat one-to-one with knowledgeable Postgrad peers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with postgraduate study.

What should you expect?

During the drop-ins, you’ll be guided through the wide range of Careers Service resources available to you.

This includes:

• How to navigate the events calendar to find employer talks and skills workshops
• Where to search for part-time roles, graduate vacancies, and internships
• How to make the most of tools like the CV Checker and interview practice platform. .

You’ll also get insight into assessment centre tests, what employers are really looking for, and how to prepare with confidence.

Not sure if you should book a one-to-one appointment?

The sessions will also explain how to arrange meetings with Careers Advisers and Careers Consultants, and what kind of support you can expect; whether that’s career planning, application feedback, or interview preparation.

You don’t need to have a clear career plan or specific questions, just bring yourself, and leave feeling more informed and confident about your options.
