Halls Awards 2026 shortlist

Posted 5 days ago

Find out who has been shortlisted for the Halls Awards!

We received over 200 nominations from you for this year's Halls Awards! Based on these nominations, we have now selected a final shortlist for each Award.

The Halls Awards are a celebration of all the incredible students in our residences.

They celebrate our Residence Life Assistants, who are key points of support and security for our students, and our Residence Life Social Committees, student volunteers who plan and run events for their peers.

We also have a Halls Hero Award, which any Halls student can win for being a great flatmate or friend.

Each member of the Residence Life team creates a shortlist for each Award based on the below criteria:

  • The extent to which the nomination demonstrates the Award description
  • The range and depth of examples given in the nomination
  • The impact demonstrated by the nomination
  • The teams or individuals shortlisted the most number of times make it to the final shortlist.

All nominations are based on the Residence Life Framework, which empowers students to grow, gain independence, and become engaged, socially responsible members of the community.
