Mandatory Warden Welcome Talks

(Self-Catered Residents)

Saturday 12 September, 5pm

Devonshire Dining Hall

This mandatory talk should be attended by all residents. This talk will include key information about your halls & safety in your halls, and you will have a chance to get to know your warden. You must stay for the duration of the talk but you are welcome to leave after.

Residence Life Social Committee Information Session

Monday 14 September from 7pm

Junior Common Room, Devonshire Hall

This information session will include vital info about the Residence Life Social Committee, what they do, why you should get involved, and how you can join.

Devonshire Challenge

Thursday 17 September, 7pm

The Quad, Devonshire Hall

This event is a relay race around the Quad.

Craft Session

Saturday 19 September, 2pm - 4pm

Junior Common Room, Devonshire Hall

This chill craft event will involve creating your own crafts. You are able to socialise with other residents as you craft. You are free to drop in and leave at any time.

Ceilidh

Sunday 20 September, 7.30pm

Devonshire Dining Room

Learn a traditional Scottish dance. There will be music and dancing.

Outdoor Cinema & Ice cream Truck

Monday 21 September, 6.45pm

Ridgefield Lawn, Devonshire Hall

We will be screening a film on the projector outside. We will also have an ice cream van outside for you to enjoy some ice cream.

Pizza & Activity Night

Wednesday 23 September from 7pm

Junior Common Room, Devonshire Hall

We will be serving free pizza, both meat and vegan options, and there will be game you can choose to play with other residents. You are free to drop in and leave at any time but please note the food will be first come first served. You will also be able to meet your Residence Life Assistants.
