This is an optional event. At this event you will be able to watch a screening of a movie. The screening will take place outdoors. You can join and leave at any time you would like. If there is a request for subtitles on the film, these can be turned on by the member of staff who brings the movie screen to the residence.
Mandatory Welcome Talk & Welcome BBQ and Pizza

Warden Welcome Talk to get more information about your accommodation, online at 6pm. Link to join will be sent to your university email. Followed by free welcome BBQ & pizza outside at 6.30pm

This talk from your Residence Life Warden involves an online presentation for approximately an hour which explains important information about living in residences, support and opportunities. The link to join will be emailed to your University email address in advance. This event will be followed by free dinner and drinks outside and this will encourage socialising, chatting and meeting other people from your residence. The talk is mandatory for all residents.
Llama visit to Lupton
Wednesday 25th September from 12-3pm

Come and meet llamas for some pet therapy!

This is an optional event and tickets are not required. At this event you can expect to meet 3 or 4 llamas. You will be able to interact with and learn about the llamas. You will be able to join at any time between 12-3pm and you can leave at any time.

Bowling at Tenpin
Thursday 26th September from 5pm
Meet at Tenpin Leeds, in the Merrion Centre, Leeds City Centre.

The entrance to Tenpin can be made wheelchair accessible via a chair lift.
This is an optional event, which requires you to sign up before you attend.
You will meet at the Lupton reception and will be walked to the Merrion centre. You will be able to play 2 games of bowling. You will be able to leave at any time. Socialising is encouraged in this event.
