As an RLA I look to support students in their first years at uni whether it be reassuring parents or overseeing their wellbeing. It also expands outside of this to make connections to the residence staff as they are definitely apart of the backbone of support.
Top tips is to always try and put yourself out there. Some may say be uncomfortable aka put yourself out of your comfort zone.
